Meet Vern & Kati Evans
Hello and welcome! We’re Vern and Kati, full-time RVers and newly minted empty nesters, and we can’t wait to share our adventures with you!
After spending nearly nine years on the road with our four amazing kids, we’ve stepped into this exciting new chapter of life, ready to rediscover ourselves and each other. With our children now forging their own paths, we’re embracing the freedom to focus on our relationship, our health, and our dreams.
We believe that life’s best adventures come from embracing change—whether you’re in a house, an apartment, or traveling full-time like us. The empty nester phase is an incredible opportunity to reconnect, explore new passions, and create the life you’ve always wanted.
Vern’s love for entomology has led him to donate one of the world’s largest private butterfly collections, and he’s an avid fly fisherman and thrill-seeker. Meanwhile, Kati finds joy in the Pacific Northwest’s ocean waves, immersing herself in reading, history, and culinary adventures inspired by our travels.
Together, we ride our Terra Trikes and soak in the beauty of each destination. Our blog is about celebrating this unique phase of life—making the most of every moment, staying connected, and pursuing our passions.
